How to reach Bhagwan Mahavir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary Goa?

By train:- If you want to reach there by train then Kolem railway station is the nearest station and from there, you can hire any car to reach this national park. It is only 6 km from Kulem.

By road:- Bhagwan Mahavir National Park is very well connected to other important cities by road. You can hire any private car to reach this park by road.

After arriving at Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary by private car, you will find their office within a few seconds of entering the park and you may park your car there. 

If you want then you can visit Bhagwan Mahavir's Wild Life sanctuary in your own private car.  But for that first, you need to get a pass from their office and may pay some permission fee for that.

You can not go by bike or on foot as no such permission is given here. So, you have to go by car only.

What should you keep in mind if you are in your Private car?

If you bring your own car and want to explore Mollem National Park, please try not to bring a luxury car because the bonnet of the luxury car is often low and you will not find any smooth roads here, you will find the dirt roads of the natural park.

Here your experience will be completely different from the Zoo as it is a Wild Life Sanctuary and National Park so all the animals you will see here are free and not kept in cages.

So you have to be careful yourself because there are all kinds of animals like bison and leopard in this forest.

If you go during the monsoons or on a rainy day, your experience may be completely different because the road is all dirt, so it gets muddy and can be slippery. So, try to avoid it in the rainy season.

If you love to see animals and birds then you will be delighted to come here as you will see different types of animals like elephants, deer, Indian bison, leopards, and many birds, etc.

You can visit Bhagwan Mahavir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary any day of the week as it is open seven days a week.

It is open from 8 am to 5 pm
